Sobre el autor: Martí Perarnau (Barcelona, 1955) fue atleta y participó en los Juegos Olímpicos de Moscú ´80 en la modalidad de salto de altura, especialidad con la que conquistó el título de campeón y recordman de España de todas las categorías. En su vida periodística ha tenido dos maestros que le enseñaron todos los secretos del oficio: Alex J. Botines y Alfons Soteras. Gracias a ellos inició una carrera profesional que le ha llevado a dirigir las secciones deportivas de distintos periódicos y también la de Televisión Española en Cataluña en una época brillante para los deportes durante la cual creó el mítico programa "Estadio 2". Hace ya más de 20 años que abandonó el periodismo activo para dedicarse al mundo de la gestión, primero como director del Centro Principal de Prensa de los Juegos Olímpicos Barcelona ´92 y, posteriormente, ya en Madrid, como director general en distintas compañías audiovisuales. Hoy en día dirige su propia empresa de producción de anuncios publicitarios y colabora como periodista en distintos medios de comunicación, incluso en Japón.

Despite this success, Redknapp joined Tottenham Hotspur in October 2008, taking over from beleaguered boss Juande Ramos. Within two weeks Spurs were out of the relegation zone, cementing his status as 'Harry Houdini', master of the great escape. He has since notched up victories against Liverpool and Manchester City, and led the club to the semi-finals of the Carling Cup.

Descripción: Pese a su creciente importancia en el desarrollo actual del juego ofensivo, no es el Ataque Directo un concepto del deporte del fútbol con el adecuado tratamiento bibliográfico. De hecho, comprobaremos posteriormente que los autores que apuestan por su inclusión en sus manuales, suelen hacerlo de forma reducida. Asimismo, existe una distinta forma, en los textos consultados, a la hora de delimitar el concepto e incluso, en la manera de definirlo. En definitiva, mientras que al Ataque Combinativo y el Contraataque ocupan numerosas áginas en los libros sobre nuestro deporte, no ocurre lo mismo con un concepto claramente olvidado.

Quizás este hecho pueda deberse a la tendencia habitual, en la que probablemente estemos inmersos la mayor parte de los entrenadores, de considerar a esta fórmula de juego ofensivo como "anti-fútbol".
